"Several of our youth hadn't experienced a gear bike and were initially reluctant and intimidated, preferring to use their own bikes. After a warm invitation and practice with some skills during our ride, many have reported wanting to level up and retire their cruisers. THIS is a prime example of how the ride has offered our students practice cultivating a growth mindset and taking on challenge with healthy risk. The ride also helped to forge the beginnings of new friendships from an unlikely group to spend time together NOW with a new found shared interest." - St. Paul's Episcopal School, November 11th, 2020
We need our community's support to continue creating transformational experiences that inspire quotes like this. This holiday season, consider donating to Trips for Kids Marin to help make "cultivating a growth mindset and taking on a challenge" happen. Click this link to donate.

Trips for Kids Marin needs your input. We are launching a new Membership program and want to provide meaningful benefits that you want. In addition to traditional discounts, we want this membership to be fun and practical!
Memberships will support our core programs; Trail Rides, Earn-A-Bike and the Mobile Bike Workshops and help get more kids on bikes. Please take a minute to answer our 6 question membership survey.
Enter your email in the survey for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Johnny's Doughnuts (YUM!). Survey closes on December 15th.
TFKM Community - We ask for your voices. San Rafael is currently in the process of receiving feedback on the San Rafael Transit Plan. One of the options being considered - the "Under the Freeway Alternative" - would result in our block (and the TFKM building) being removed.
Trips for Kids Marin runs the Re-Cyclery bike thrift shop from our 4th Street location which is a critical resource for many within Marin, including some of our most vulnerable. As a bike thrift shop, we are an important part of the transportation landscape within San Rafael.
Open comment will close on December 11th, so please take a moment to share your thoughts on the San Rafael Transit Plan through this survey or call (415) 257-4444.
