Christina FisherDirector
Christina brings to the board expertise in communications, event planning and employee engagement programs for corporate philanthropy initiatives as well as skills in volunteer engagement. Christina is the Brand Engagement Specialist for Autodesk where she oversees brand experience programs for customers and employees. Previously, she served as a board member for Oakland Elizabeth House and continues to volunteer in the community for nonprofits focused on education, housing insecurity, and hunger. Christina’s father taught her to ride a bike when she was young. Being able to cycle as a kid provided a sense of independence, which was both exhilarating and practical. She biked to visit friends, to school, and to after-school programs. Christina now hopes to return the favor by inspiring young people to develop their cycling skills and helping them achieve confidence biking on Bay Area roads and trails. She is excited to support programs that cultivate independence, self-assurance, and connections with the world through cycling. Christina has a MA in Public Communication and Public Relations from University of Westminster in London, England and a BFA in Graphic Design from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys camping, cycling, golfing, and skiing. Christina lives in Novato with her husband and their rescue dachshunds, Jacques and Barron. |
